Clint Chandler, lead guitar/vocals, grew up in a small town
outside of Wichita Falls, TX. Surrounded by a musical family, he began
playing guitar at age 12. At age 14, he joined his father's band where he
performed every weekend at various nightclubs, street dances, and private
parties and continued to play locally throughout his high school days.
During these years, Clint discovered his love for music and knew it would be his
future. Mostly self-taught, he has always enjoyed studying and learning
about music theory. At one point, Clint researched to find what literature
Berklee College of Music used for its guitar classes and ordered these books to
study on his own. At the age of 21, he decided to try his luck in Music
City and made the move to Nashville, TN. Clint made his first contacts in
Nashville by interning at local recording studios and performing with
local singer/songwriters. Currently, when Clint is not performing with
Raisin' Cain, you can find him on tour with Sara Evans. Clint proudly
endorses Tom
Anderson Guitarworks and Elixir
Strings. For more about Clint please visit: www.clintchandler.com. |
