Gregg Lohman plays drums for Raisin' Cain and is originally
from Teutopolis, a small town in south-central Illinois. He received his
Bachelor's
Degree in Music Performance from Eastern Illinois University, and from there he went on to obtain his
Master's Degree in Music
from the University of Tennessee. While at UT, Gregg performed in various
percussion and wind ensembles and also performed w/the Knoxville Symphony
Orchestra. Gregg moved to Nashville
in 2000 and began playing in clubs around the Nashville area. After a
couple of years in Nashville, Raisin' Cain formed, and in 2003 Gregg began
playing drums for Aaron Tippin
and since then has also played for SheDaisy, Josh Turner, Ray Scott, and
Katrina Elam. Gregg
